Biography: 

Benjamin was born Nov 16, 1816.  He was mustered in on August 19, 1862 at age 38. He died Mar 22, 1863 at Fort Ridgely, Mn.  His parents were Benjamin and Susannah Lucas Bartholomew.  He was buried in Section OP-11 Nortfield City Cemetery, Northfield, Mn.
