George Paulson was born September 26, 1949 in Northfield, son of George W. and Joyce Paulson. He was raised on his family's Forest Township dairy farm and attended school in Northfield graduating in 1967. He was very active in F.F.A. After graduation he farmed full time until he entered the Army in 1969, serving in Vietnam. Following his discharge in 1971, he returned to his dairy farm. George served on the Board of directors of the Cannon Valley Co-op, was named 1994 Rice County Outstanding YOung Farmeer and was a member of Rice County Farm Bureau for many years. He was also on the George did February 12, 2001.
