Biography: 

Wayne entered the service in 1943. His basic training was at Fort Benning, GA. He took additional training at Fort Bragg, NC. He was also stationed at Fort Jackson, SC and Camp Forrest, TN. His overseas tour of duty included stints in England, Holland, Germany and Czechoslovakia.
